Ingredients

  • 2-1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup unsweetened apple juice
  • 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup raisins or dates, (pitted and chopped)
  • 4 tsp packed Splenda® Brand brown sugar blend
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats, (not instant)
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Preparation

In saucepan, bring water, apple juice, apple, raisins, SPLENDA® Brown Sugar Blend and cinnamon to boil; stir in rolled oats. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes or until thickened. Stir in walnuts.
