Hi friends, Well, I hope that you enjoyed our gold medal weekend! Wow. I was walking down Yonge Street yesterday just after the hockey game ended, and it was amazing to see the crowds of people dressed in red and white, hooting and hollering and honking their horns, heading downtown to celebrate. I was grinning like a fool. It's not as exciting as a gold medal, but hopefully one of you is about to be grinning in a moment too. I too look for robins and cardinals, snowdrops and crocuses, mud and hints of green. When I lived in Nova Scotia the first sound of peepers in the spring was always a thrill, too!
