Hello!
If you've received your June issue (which should have dropped into your mailbox or onto newsstands by now), you might have seen the instructions for the memory book on page 147.
When I was working on that project – which I thought would be ideal for this time of year, as there seems to be a bridal shower, baby shower, graduation or other special occasion every weekend – I got in touch with Fiskars and asked them if they had any scrapbooking tools I could use on my prototypes, and then give away to Make+Do readers.
Sadly, I didn't get the tools in time to use them on my projects, but when the box did arrive, it was packed chock-full of goodies! In fact, there are so many good things that I'll be doing three weeks of Fiskars giveaways, starting today, with a whole bunch of border and border/corner punches.
Here goes...hold on to your hats!
I've got one nifty Twist and Flip 2-in1 Corner Punch (Scalloped):
And I've got three straight-up border punches: "Boundary Waters," "Lace" and "Threading Water":

And I have four Combo Border/Corner Punches, in "Lattice Entertain You," "Between the Vines," "Framed in Love," and "Lace & Lattice."

If you've ever played with Fiskars tools in your paper crafting, you'll know that they're super easy to figure out, versatile, produce great results, and stand up to a lot of use. They're a fabulous addition to any craft room.
To enter to win one of these punches, leave a comment telling me what special event(s) or occasion you're looking forward to this summer. Comments will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 24; I'll announce eight winners here on Tuesday, May 25. Prizes will be awarded randomly.
Thanks for playing along. Tune in tomorrow to find out what crafty business I got up to this weekend, and to share your works in progress.
