Hi friends, All right, I guess I have to admit it: there’s a chill in the air most evenings that has me thinking fondly of knitted socks. That’s likely why I spent two solid hours poring over one of Interweave‘s latest books: Around the World in Knitted Socks. (Shh, don’t tell my boss!) There are 26 different, internationally inspired sock patterns in this book, and they’re beautiful. If I was a faster knitter (now there’s a story for another day) I’d have a drawer full of these already, but until then, I’ll be paging through and sighing at the lovely photos and descriptions. Colourwork, cables, lace, beaded knitting – whatever you fancy, chances are it’s featured within. And the great thing is that socks are small, and that means you’ll have a finished object on your feet before the frost sets. Wouldn’t that be nice? For your chance to win, leave a comment on this post by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, September 20; I’ll post a winner here on Tuesday, September 21. Where in the world would you like to go for a visit (no, it doesn’t need to be a place with famous socks!) Tomorrow I’ll share a few details about where I’m off to next. Until then, have a great night! You might also like:Giveaway winner: ISLAND by Jane Richmond Book review + giveaway: ISLAND by Jane Richmo...
