I don't know if it's the nice weather calling me to get outdoors, but lately I've been all about fast and furious creativity. Whether it's cutting a bunch of blooms from the garden and plopping them into a jar or sewing a quick hem to turn a pair of pants into shorts, I just don't seem to have it in me to sit down and concentrate on a big project.
So that's when I turn to the Internet. With all the free printable paper crafts available, all you need is a colour printer and some card stock, and you're set. Last week I came across this fun monthly 3D calendar (via Poppytalk). I hit save and print, then got out the scissors.
Instead of gluing the calendar together, I used double-sided tape (it's quicker and less messy), and I skipped the fancy bone folder in favour of an old letter opener for scoring the lines. If you don't have a place in your home or office for something like this calendar, you could also print it with the instructions to give as a lovely gift (and for that crafty friend, you could include some good card stock and a shiny new pair of scissors).
Here's a bunch of other neat things to print and cut that I've come across recently in my web travels. Leave a comment if you've got any other favourites you've found.
