Thank you to everyone who was for reading and stitching along with us during the Easy-Breezy Summer Stitch-Along. It was great to hear about your summer adventures and see your projects come to fruition.
Last week, Donna shared a picture of her finished hairpin lace shawl.
And Kaeleigh shared a photo of her finished afghan, all bundled up and ready for giving.
I know lots of you have projects that you’re just finishing up, so I hope you’ll share photos of the finished (or almost finished!) socks, shawls, sweaters (did you see Tina’s?) and samples in the comments. We’d love to see them!
Fall Crochet Along
It seems as though people are eager to switch it up a bit and try a different craft for the fall stitch along. Since it’ll soon be cowl-wearing weather, what do you think about choosing a crocheted cowl to work on? I had a look at Ravelry and saw a few that looked good:
- Two-colour cowl from The Purl Bee
- Calm cowl by Suzana Davidovic
- Effortless cowl by Liz/Crochet in Color
What do you think – is there one that appeals to you? Do you have a pattern to suggest? I hope you’ll share it in the comments.
I’m pretty new to crochet, so don’t be deterred if you’re also a beginner. We’ll take a couple posts to explore basic techniques before we get get down to cowl-making business!
Enjoy your long weekend and we’ll see you back on Tuesday.
