I’ve really missed our weekly round-up of inspiring links, so I’m bringing it back. Here are a few things that caught my eye this week… I wish I could be in Vancouver this weekend for Knit City – looks like it’s going to be a great weekend. Photographer Nicholas Kupiak, layout Shannon Cook Speaking of the West Coast, did you see Island, the new collection from Jane Richmond? Shannon of Luvinthemommyhood made an awesome video preview, too – check it out. Reader Mary Grace wrote it to tell me about a beautiful book: Liberty Cross Stitch, 24 Designs to Sew. “The designer combines Liberty fabrics with cross stich designs that pick up the colours or the motif in the fabric,” she writes. ” There are patterns for a bag, placemats, needlecase, baby quilt and more. They are all quite lovely.” Doesn’t it look nice? Hey, do you recognize that lovely pillow? Glenna’s hosting a giveaway this week – visit her site for your chance to win a copy of the November issue of Canadian Living, complete with this fantastic pattern. What caught your eye? I’d love it if you’d share a link in the comments. Have a great weekend! You might also like:DIY J.Crew-inspired Tuxedo Shirt Heirloom Chevron Throw - Free Pattern!
