Unless you're a food purist living in a media-less vacuum, you've caught something in the news or in conversation about KFC's Double Down sandwich: a meatwich of epic proportions containing bacon, processed cheese, special KFC sauce, living between two breaded KFC chicken breasts.

The Globe & Mail and Toronto Star confirm its legacy is now over in Canada. Despite over 1 million sandwiches sold, so many of our Canadian Living Facebook readers report it was not the tasty treat they expected. (As I write this post, 33 of you to be exact).
