If you could eat anything, what would it be? And a chance to WIN!

I was just checking out a book called The Shangri-La Diet: The No Hunger Eat Anything Weight-Loss Plan, by Seth Roberts, Ph.D.

Eat Anything. Anything. Really?

While I'm skeptical that you really could eat anything and lose weight and be healthy, I'm curious: if you could eat anything without feeling sick, full or fat afterward, what would it be? What would your 'Eat Anything' meal look like?

Mine would probably start with a rocky road ice cream appetizer, then progress to a poutine entree, followed by a towering pyramid of baklava for dessert, accompanied by a chocolate milkshake. Or two.

How 'bout you? For a chance to WIN a copy of The Shangri-La Diet, just Subscribe To This Blog and post a reply telling us about what you would eat if you could eat anything.

You have until Thursday, November 12 to let us know. I'll announce the lucky winner here on lucky Friday, November 13.

Ahhhhh such things that dreams are made of!!!
Upon joyous reflection i think it would be a leg of lamb, cooked to perfection with homemade mint sauce and lashings of mashed potatoes with butter dripping from them. The veg would be spraggled with the sharpest cheddar and there would be a side of sour cream. For desert perhalps a pecan pie with the runniest of fillings and a generous scoup of real vanillia ice cream ....be still my heart. (NOT PERMANENTLY!!!)

  78. Amy Barroso Says:

Eat your veggies or you don't get any dessert... was a sentence that I dreaded to hear as a kid and unfortunately I've adopted these words, on occasion, with my own munchkins... soooo if I could have anything and not gain weight it would certainly start with dessert, I'm thinking my nana's triffle (scottish style with liquor, jam cake and whip creme... NOT the fruit filled british version! Who needs fruit on this diet? Then I'm thinking mounds of already-cracked-and-peeled seafood, don't want anything like shells holding me back, can't forget the bucket of melted garlic butter for dipping. Oh! What about warm, crusty sour dough bread topped with whipped butter (for easy spreading)... mmmm. Then I think I'll have another dessert, just because I can, something chocolate perhaps... cake, I love cake with cheap store bought icing in a can... love it!! Notice what's missing? Veggies! Take that mom.
