This recipe embraces the latest foodie trend—soaked oats. Why are soaked oats so good for you? Soaking oats makes them easier to digest and soaking them overnight means you’ll have a healthy breakfast ready to go first thing. Super Powered Soaked Oatmeal to Go Here’s what you need: Gluten-free oats Chia Seeds Unsweetened milk (Try coconut, almond, rice, hemp, or flax.) Topppings: nuts, seeds, apples, pears, gogi berries, or pure vanilla Pour oats into a mason jar, add chia seeds and shake them up so they are distributed. Add milk and then top it with superfoods like nuts or seeds. Then seal the jar and leave it in the fridge overnight. Voila! It’s ready to eat and it’s full of protein.
