After being accused of gender stereotyping, a London toy store has replaced their boys and girls toy department with gender neutral divisions, sorting toys by interest and type instead. Blue and pink signs has been scrapped in favour of red and white ones.

Why?
Is it so wrong to dress our baby boys in blue?
Is it so wrong that our young daughters ask Santa for an easy-bake oven?
Along those same lines, would I object if my son decides to grow his hair long?
Would I lead my daughter in the opposite direction if she chooses a career in a male dominated field?
No!
I would encourage their individuality and their passions.
It shouldn't matter whether they are male or female.
What DOES matter is that they are comfortable in their own skin.
Is our gender really such an issue?
After all, being born male or female is not a choice we make...it's who we are.
Is being gender specific really such a bad thing?
