On Sunday, I was lucky enough to attend the MuchMusic Video Awards and talk to the stars as they arrived on the red carpet. Since we're Canadian Living, we had to ask them the question that divides our office like no other. Butter Tarts: With raisins or without. Butter tarts proved to be a rather hot topic on the red carpet as well. Team raisins Ed Sheeran: With raisins! Raisins added to anything makes it awesome, well apart from ice cream. Team no raisins Jeff Timmons: I’m not a fan of raisins in butter tarts. I think the raisins mess up the consistency. Nikki Yanofsky: No raisins, I'm allergic to raisins. MAGIC!: I appreciate both arguments. But lead singer Nasri Atweh had a surprising answer. "I don't do butter tarts." He doesn't like butter tarts...that's unheard of in our office. Divided over the raisin debate Arkells: We’ll have to talk about it later. Don’t bring up sensitive things like that at a fun occasion like this. Raisins are a divisive issue in rapper D-Sisive's house. I don't know how to make them. Husband: Well now you better, if you want to save this marriage. It gets intense in our house. Listening to this convo reminded me of the many butter tart debates we have here at the CL office...what can I say,  Canadians feel very passionately about butter tarts.
