Get packing! Apart from getting the best budget deals on your next trip, preparing and packing are the next priorities. Packing your suitcase for long-haul trips requires a little bit of ingenuity, but there are handy travel gadgets, apps and accessories to make packing super easy, which is what we all want when we're pressed for time. In addition to the accessories I've included in my slideshow below,  there are two other items I highly recommend – especially if you're booking budget accommodation: a plug for the bathtub (you'd be surprised how often some hotels overseas don't provide a plug – a way of discouraging long baths perhaps?) and a doorstop (you'd be amazed at the extra security a doorstop provides!).
