Win Wii Fit Plus
Hello! I want to share some exciting news with you ... nope, not about the Wii Fit Plus just yet.
I have lost two inches off my waist line. Yeah for me! Big round of applause.
The loss didn't come easily. I have been working out with a trainer once a week since late April (a great guy who lives in my neighbourhood) so it's the accumulation of about six months of hard work. But boy does it feel good. I'll admit that I still have a "muffin top"(that little protrusion on the front of one's tummy) but I can see that the sides of waist are much more defined.(Can you tell I'm happy?!)
What I love most about my new work-out routine is that I don't go on the scales. I'm not interested in how much I weigh but in how my clothes fit, how I feel in them and that I'm building up my muscles and strengthening my bones. I happen to know that I whittled away two inches of my waistline because my trainer took some measurements in April and then again this week.
Enough about me and my waist. Now let's talk about Wii Fit Plus.
I don't own a Wii (sniff, sniff) but I have girlfriends who do and tell me the fitness workouts are amazing. What I do have in my hot little hands is a copy of the new Wii Fit Plus — and I'm going to give it away to one lucky blog reader.
What do you have to do to win? Subscribe to my blog and tell me why you deserve to have your very own Wii Fit Plus.
Talk to you soon! Kathryn

Dear Kathryn:
Let me first start with appreciation to your comment - re. scale...I also am not interested about how much I weigh - I see it as the on-going questions about age - IT IS JUST A NUMBER, right.I take care of my 95 years old mom who now lives with me. Working full time, looking after her, some volunteer work - and there you have it - not much time for anything else. I would love to experience the Wii Fit plus - perhaps I could introduce it to my mom as well. I do not have very much money , so for me to purchase it - well, out of my league now...Mom could use some more excersize and this could be fun. At her age - she is not that mobile any more - and it could be something we perhaps engage in together.
I am just shy of 60 years - so perhaps it is a good time for me to get fitter so I can continue to fullfill all the roles I play in my life.
Thank you for your consideration and I would be thrilled to hear from you. Have a lovely day.
Sincerely,
Susan Costello

Well done on your toning! Do you find a trainer helps you focus better? Does the trainer follow you during every step or just set you out a plan? I would like a Wii Fit to help me keep things challenging and make me want to get up and face myself and the procrastination and get physical

Hi Kathryn,
I have been dreaming about having the Wii Fit for quite some time. I sit at a desk job all day and will be retiring soon as my 65th birthday is on Nov. 3rd. It would be a great birthday present as my husband hasn't worked much this year and I know its definitely not in our budget. The Wii Fit would enable me to work out, have fun, and tone and lose. When you get older its harder and harder to lose and firm but I would love to work at it in my retirement as I know I would definitely feel better. I need the cardio as this is something that I don't get in my daily routine.
Love to hear from you and I'll keep my Birthday wish open for a Wii Fit Plus.
Regards,
Linda

OMG!!~Congrats on your loss~~!! I have skinny legs, skinny arms but an "APPLE" body, by what I read in magazines. I need the WII fit, because I need to get this apple off my body.My sister at 46 years did her first 10k maraton. i am so proud of her. i would love to run with her for all good causes, such as breast cancer runs, etc. but I need to work myself into shape and I need the WII to help me!

Hi Kathryn, I don't deserve the Wii Fit any more than anyone else here but I'd certainly love to have this. I have chronic pain and need something that I can do without causing harm. I work at 3 senior care homes running the activities and find my time limited. This would be something I could do every day. I have a 16 year old son who could benefit by this as well as give us some quality and fun time together.
October 23rd, 2009 at 4:38 am
well like alot of people i am a single mom of 3 teens, i have alot of physical issues from an old spinal injury and a Wii fit would be a great way to be able to exercise at home at my own pace, i think all us moms deserve one of these but all i can say is i deserve it because i try really hard everyday to do the best i can do , that's it i guess
October 23rd, 2009 at 7:03 am
i deserve to win because i get up at 4;00 am everymorning to work out so i can have time for my husband and kids for the rest of the day
October 23rd, 2009 at 7:28 am
I deserve to win a Wii Fit because I want to be around for my kids when I'm an old lady - and being in shape will help me on my way to that goal!
October 23rd, 2009 at 8:16 am
I don't deserve to win this because I can't do with this what I would like to do with it. The greatest thing about the Wii is sharing it. The Wii is best when you have people playing a game together, and since you can't workout together, it would be nice to have somebody to share this with so we could work out together virtually. "What did you do today?" "How many did you do?" How can you share you accomplishments? Who will know that you've reached your goals? Who will keep you motivated? When I can get all these questions answered, then I'llbe worthy of winning this game.

i deserve to have my very own Wii Fit Plus because i am a stay at home mom who needs to get more excercise..
October 23rd, 2009 at 8:48 am
2 inches! Good for you. I need to do that too and need to get to work on it. I think a Wii Fit Plus would be pretty helpful to get it done...!
October 23rd, 2009 at 8:56 am
Hi Kathryn, Congratulations! Very inspiring. I am a busy working mom who finds it challenging to make time fo rmyself. My kids (under 10) have been telling me I need a WII fit as they would like to see a healthier mom who is doing something positive for herself! I would love a WII fit to help myself and share with my kids.
October 23rd, 2009 at 9:08 am
I subscribed. I would love to have a wii fit. After three kids my body isn't what it used to be and the closest gym is in anouther town, but i'm not comfortable there anyways. i would love to be able to workout at home and my kids would love this aswell. My upper arms and jelly belly would love this.
October 23rd, 2009 at 9:11 am
Im out of shape
October 23rd, 2009 at 9:15 am
I need motivation to train and keep track of my progress, plus I just recently found out that I am pregant and being able to do these things at home will really help. not to mention very important.
October 23rd, 2009 at 9:57 am
Congratulations on your hard work! Being fit and staying active can sometimes be hard work. The cool thing about the Wii Fit and the Wii Fit Plus is that you don't have to spend time away from home at a gym to necessarily reap the benefits of a good workout, it's enabled people of all shapes, sizes and age to work out together. I think it's a great tool for that alone, and it makes workouts a lot more fun (and a lot more bearable!). I would love to share my workouts with my family as well with the Wii Fit Plus.
October 23rd, 2009 at 10:55 am
I deserve to win because I work hard at keeping my household going and I put a lot of energy into my Children and Husband! Would be great to have some Me time and that would be fun with Wii Fit!
October 23rd, 2009 at 11:11 am
I need a new tool for weight loss and getting in shape
October 23rd, 2009 at 11:17 am
Way to go! Well done!
I'd love to try it out and see if the Wii Fit and the Wii Fit Plus can do the job for my aging outta-shape body
October 23rd, 2009 at 11:57 am
Firstly, congrats on your achievments so far...
I've had eating disorders my entire life and at 46 find myself heavier than ever. I'm either starving myself or binging. I was doing fairly well in the eating category when my mom, on Sept 30th was hospitalized with stage 4 bowel cancer that had spread to her liver. She already suffered from Alzheimers at the relatively young age of 68.
My family and I spent every day with her at the hospital. She was in such pain. They moved her to hospice late in the afternoon on the 16th of October and she lasted until apprx 6:05am the following morning of the 17th.
For her I am so at peace knowing she is in no more pain and is of sound mind....for me, I have lost my best friend.
Mom's memorial is tomorrow afternoon and in her memory I would like to try to get healthier and I believe this Wii Fit would be the perfect way to start.
I know she would be so proud of me.
Thanks

So far I've lost 30 lbs and only have about another 10 to go. My goal is to get the other 10 off then keep it off by staying with exercise and proper eating. I am proud of how far I've come and hope anyone else battling this task has as much luck as I've had. I think that's why I desrve a chance at winning it. I think It would be a fun way of exercising too.
October 23rd, 2009 at 1:32 pm
I have started working out with my wii, first with the Wii Fit and I use the Cardio Workout and the Wii Active. It would be great to have another option for my workouts.
October 23rd, 2009 at 1:48 pm
I Need a WII fit because i can be so lazy to workout if its not fun.But this sounds like a ton of fun!I need to get toned ,running after my 14month old is not enough anymore!
thanks
October 23rd, 2009 at 1:53 pm
Congrats on your well-deserved weight loss!
Since I hit menopause,I've gained a lot of weight that I just can't seem to lose.I could really use the Wii Fit Plus to give me some motivation and make exercising fun!
October 23rd, 2009 at 2:06 pm
I'd love to win the Wii Fit Plus, as we would be able to use it to get our whole family interested and involved in exercising as a family.
October 23rd, 2009 at 2:20 pm
Congrats on losing 2 inches!
I'd love to own a wii fit. I've heard good things about them. They make exercising fun.
Recently I moved to my daughters for a year to take care of my 3 yr old granddaughter while my daughter is taking basic training in the military and other courses. Once the year is up, I'll be going back home. But right now I am in the boonies, and don't know anyone. A wii fit will help immensely on getting exercise, and my granddaughter can do it too. It will make for lots of fun and exercise while we wait for her mom to come back.

I deserve to win only because I'm fat and I love Wii. I have Wii Fit but it's gotten boring... so I stopped using it. I need something to pick me back up.
I've spent the fast few months in and out of the hospital, all for what seems to be weight-related issues. I need to lose weight before I die. Seriously.
This would be a step in the right direction
Thank you!

I would wanna win it because I want to be fit and healthy
October 23rd, 2009 at 3:25 pm
I used to be the first comment on this topic. Now my post seems to have been removed. Why is that? I didn't write anything questionable.
October 23rd, 2009 at 3:45 pm
My daughter and I have just started an exercise program. We are each going to have a milestone birthday in 2010 and want to start it off by being healthy and fit. A Wii fit would take us to the next step and get us to both achieve our golas.
October 23rd, 2009 at 3:58 pm
Hi Kathryn, congratulations on your success! It would be such a blessing to win the Wii Fit Plus to help me in my quest to stay healthy while I have MS and have fun keeping active with my children participating.
October 23rd, 2009 at 4:25 pm
Ah, Kathryn way to go losing inches...I have release 80lbs since last June...I would love to have a Wii Fit plus to vary my exercises and to embrace my children's futures...the media likes to blame the high childhood obesity rates on video games & tv, but I could show them how to incorporate technology and physical fitness using Pa Wii Fit plus...being healthy should be fun, and as a family with a Wii Fit Plus it could be...or funny at least...Thanks for the great contests.
October 23rd, 2009 at 4:49 pm
I would like to win a Wii fit because my family is all trying to stay healthy exercising and eating right. This is an activity we can all enjoy doing togther.
October 23rd, 2009 at 4:50 pm
Hi
I've just read all of the above comments and I wish that you had one to give to everyone! I don't think my reasons compare in any way to those above, but I would love to try this out becuase I've never used a Wii Fit (or Plus) and it seems like the perfect way to exercise at home. I had to let my gym membership lapse and I haven't worked out in ages. I'd love to start getting back in shape and toning up. Thanks for the giveaway - and good luck to everyone!
October 23rd, 2009 at 7:25 pm
my whole family is fat and they keep complaining about it, maybe this will help
October 23rd, 2009 at 8:57 pm
I began this year with a new determination to get a grip on my health. I had a sleep study done & began treatment for obstructive sleep apnea, prior to beginning that treatment I had been going to the pool M-F every morning faithfully in order to lose some weight. In spite of my efforts I gained 20 pounds. After seeking more medical help I was told my health issues combined meant I had metabolic syndrome. I am happy to report that I have made positive strides to combat this problem & have made some excellent progress in my weight loss journey so far however I'm noticing that my indoor walking program is starting to become easier for me and my concern is that I will level off before I reach my goals. A Wii Fit Plus would help me keep going
October 23rd, 2009 at 9:55 pm
I see others getting bigger and bigger and I don't want this to happen to me or my family.
October 23rd, 2009 at 10:46 pm
Oh...I would love to move to a Wii Fit Plus. Just gone thru some surgery and more to come which will keep me home and less active. This would keep me moving eventhough at a milder pace....and help get me back in action as soon as possible! Thanks!
October 23rd, 2009 at 11:28 pm
I really need to get into a fitness routine and from what I have heard the Wii Fit Plus helps. In winter I don't get out as much to exercise because of the icy sidewalks so this would be a nice replacement for the walking.
October 23rd, 2009 at 11:57 pm
I love to win to get in shape!
October 24th, 2009 at 5:19 am
Hi Kathryn,
I just signed up to be an email subscriber.
Why do I deserve to have my very own Wii Fit Plus, you ask? Well, I work 6 days a week with a community services agency where I help homeless/abused women and their children get back up on their feet. My job is mostly an office desk job and being able to go out on "active duty" is a rarity. I go straight home from work and start tending to the house...looking after my kids and cooking dinner. I would never be able to go to the gym and leave my kids home alone. If I am lucky enough to win, I would be able to shed the 20 lbs I've been wanting to get rid of for YEARS, relieve some stress that can come from my job AND be able to spend some fun time with my kids. I think they will love this more than me but only time will tell! Thanks for this opportunity!
October 24th, 2009 at 8:43 am
Yes, a man who could definitely do with a wii fit, or should that be a re-fit? As someone with MS getting out of the front door to go to a gym to do exercise when there is ice around is a major problem, so having a tool such as a wii fit would be a real boon. It would prevent so many disagreements between my wife and myself in the process of moving me around in the slick white north.
October 24th, 2009 at 11:01 am
Our family has recently motivated ourselves to loose some pounds, but toning up those bits of flesh are leaving us disheartened. My husband lost 50 pounds, and only lost 15. I think we sound like a commercial we all have seen.
No worries, this would be a healthy competition, in more ways than one.
Getting to the point, we both have noticed these bits of flesh, which we like to call "love handles" that need to be toned up. We are not the "crunching and core" type of people (they're boring and back breaking) but do need some sort of exercise that we would both enjoy. He has whipped my butt on the scales, but I would love to be champ on the Wii Fit.
I would love to see people's reactions if I could tell them I look better because I was watching more TV.
Thank you for the giveaway.
October 24th, 2009 at 11:12 am
I live in a remote area - no gyms, no personal trainers, I just have to rely on myself to get moving. Its not always easy
October 24th, 2009 at 12:07 pm
Hi Kathryn,
I would love to win this Wii Fit plus, not for me, for my older sister and her two daughters. You see Kathryn, my older sisters is a single mom has been through a very difficult time, went through a horrendous divorce and then became very ill. She was forced to leaved her job due to her illness, go on disability and hasn't had much time to take care of herself. Her two teenage daughters, great girls but are both overweight. They have been tremendous help to their mom, making a lot of the meals, most highly processed boxed meals. This fortunately and unfortunately is what if provided by the food banks. My sister, thankfully is starting to slowly get better. I think the Wii fit would be something fun for all three of them to do together. Thanks
October 24th, 2009 at 12:13 pm
sounds like a great way to start a fitness program.
October 24th, 2009 at 12:17 pm
I deserve to have my very own Wii Fit Plus so that I can stay fit.

October 24th, 2009 at 12:22 pm
I would love to win to get in shape while still hanging out with the family!
October 24th, 2009 at 2:11 pm
I deserve to win, since I am an active member of the "Mom Blog", if only I was as active when it comes to exercising!!! I'm know a "Wii Fit Plus" would help me get back in shape and have fun doing it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
October 24th, 2009 at 3:35 pm
I am a Breast Cancer survivor, as also my 25 year old daughter. With treatments we received, also, came weight gain. I know that with the Wii Fit Plus, will help both of us to not only get exercise but will help motivate us as we move forward with our lives.
October 24th, 2009 at 3:58 pm
I can't say I'd deserve to win but I can say that I'd love too!
I've been off work for a couple months now & I find that without a purpose I've been spending far too much time on the couch! I wish I could say the size of my bum has not been affected! A Wii Fit Plus would be a nice way to lure me (& my ever-growing derrière) away from from the cozy comfort of the sofa!!
October 24th, 2009 at 6:00 pm
What a great contest, and congrat on losing a couple of inches. A friend of mine used her wii fit and dropped from a size 12 to a 4. I am a full time university student (so no extra funds for a gym membership) I would absolutely love to win this wii fit plus to help shed those freshmen 15!!!
October 24th, 2009 at 7:53 pm
I expect everyone here deserves to win this, and I am no exception. I've had my share of tragedies and health scares. Regardless of whether our lives have been tough or whether they have, thus far, been easy....we all need to take time to have fun and keep fit, and if we can combine the two....all the better!
(for the life of me, I can't figure out how to subscribe to your blog.........but I'd like to!)
October 24th, 2009 at 10:13 pm
Hi,
I just had my second baby 5 months ago, and while I've been running and swimming since I just can't seem to lose the weight. With winter coming I would love the chance to just stay home and workout (maybe show my older daughter - who's 5 - just how cool it is to stay in shape). I'm determined to lose a couple inches off my waist too before I head back to work. The Wii Fit would be a great addition to my workout routine. Thanks!
October 24th, 2009 at 11:39 pm
I would love to win. Not just the Wii fit. But to win at the game of healthy living. Healthy living to me is 1 Taking me time. Some times that sleeping, reading crafts or exercise. In winter it is harder to be out doors for me. with a Wii fit. I would just have to turn it on and work out to my hearts content.
October 25th, 2009 at 12:28 pm
I deserve to have my very own Wii Fit Plus to stay fit.
October 25th, 2009 at 12:40 pm
Living with depression and anxiety, due to PTSD, for the last 4 years hasn't been easy. Dealing with the weight gain hasn't been fun. Recently I had an MRI on my spine (due to my chornic back pain)... I have Degenerative Disc Disease and a bulging herniated disc. I discovered the reasons for my chronic back, and need to do everythig possible to avoid back surgery. Losing weight would alleviate some pressure but the depression, anxiety, and pain limit my mobility and my motivation. So do I deserve to win? I deserve to win as much as anyone else. Quite frqankly, why would anyone not want a Wii Fit? The benefits would be endless!
It's a wonderful prize that anyone would love to win.
Good Luck to everyone.
October 25th, 2009 at 8:54 pm
I have been looking for motivation to work out, and have trouble working out while my toddler is still awake. I have a wii upstairs, and think this might be the solution to my workout problems! I am still trying to lose the last 20 pounds of extra pregnancy weight. Hope I win!
October 26th, 2009 at 1:02 am
Since I commute a huge 2.5 hours each way, I do not have time to go to the gym in the evenings, but having a wii fit would allow me to work out in the bit of time I have in the evening.
October 26th, 2009 at 10:57 am
I think I deserve a Wii Fit Plus because I have been able to go from a size 18 to a size 10 -12 just from walking. I do have a long way to go though with the stomach and such and know that doing a regular routine outside of walking would be beneficial. I just find walking so easy to do that I need something like Wii Fit Plus to get me interested in something else as well as walking. My children would also benefit in this too.
October 26th, 2009 at 2:17 pm
I had foot surgery awhile back and had to stop working out because I wasn't allowed to for 3 months (was not able to wear shoes!). Because I didn't move, I gained a lot of weight. It's very difficult to be motivated to go back to the gym because I'm embarassed as to how I look.
October 26th, 2009 at 7:08 pm
Congrats on the 2 inches. I always think it is better to go with how your clothes fit and how you feel instead of watching the scale. I would love to win wii fit plus. I have been using the wii fit original and I have to say as much as I enjoy it, I would love some new material. It is inexpensive and it gets the whole family motivated, which I love.
October 26th, 2009 at 7:54 pm
I'd love to have a Wii fit. I work shift work and I find in the winter especially its hard to keep a routine. I've lost 15 lbs so far, and this would help me keep up my fitness not only in the winter but year round!
October 27th, 2009 at 10:55 am
I am a new mom and I have always struggled to lose weight. After the birth of my daughter I realized that I gained over 45lbs. I am in need of something that will allow me to work out at home and motivate me to keep going even when I want to stop. My husband says I’m beautiful but I feel I need to get my sexy back
October 27th, 2009 at 11:13 am
I also own a Wii with the basic Wii Sports games that came with it. I love to do the boxing, and it does get my heart racing, so I'm getting the aerobic excercise with that. But, I have been thinking that a Wii Fit (Plus) would be a more comprehensive all-over workout, and find the cost quite prohibitive. I just might get hubby to try it, too.

well at age 60 and weighing in at 238 lbs..i think i deserve the wii fit for having lived a life of many trials and tribulations and overcoming them finally! It would be a treat for me and such a motivator in my life, to help myself lose weight and become healthier so that i can be around longer for all those family members who love me and my pets who rely on me and my friends who look to me for my wisdom..;-)) Thanks for listening! and as spock always states..'live long and prosper' ;-))
October 27th, 2009 at 7:10 pm
I do have to say congrads to the inches off and a change in the healthy lifestyle direction. I run a food service in Ontario that caters to Individual Tailored home-cooked menu to aid in Senior Care, Independents and busy Families and a wealth of knowledge in the area of Allergies and Digestive Disorders. I a also a Cake Designer and create Memories for people one tier at a time. Between the meals and the Cakes, I promote Health and Happiness but lack the time to make it to a gym, but a Wii Fit would be ideal!! Keep me fit, keep me motivated and all in between popping the meals in the ovens and putting the Icing on the Cakes!!
October 27th, 2009 at 8:36 pm
Hi Katherine..i think i deserve to win...i am 61 years old a mother of two grandmother of 4..(and loving them) i started out at 204lbs may 14th. 2007 i now weigh 164 so i know how hard it is but it IS POSSIBLE...i need that wii fit plus to lose my last 15 lbs...thanks for your blog...granny jean
October 27th, 2009 at 8:50 pm
I really need a WII Fit Plus because I am too fat to go to the gym. My workout clothes with elastic waist bands have become my good going out clothes. What would I wear to the gym. Plus the effort it takes to get to the gym is too much of a workout for my couch potato butt. Let the WII Fit PLus shape me up and get me starte on my way to a gym membership and clothes with zippers and buttons.
October 28th, 2009 at 6:52 am
I need the Wii Fit plus because between my daughter and myself we have lost over 80 pounds using Wii fit and eating healthier. I have purchased several of the exercise programs for the Wii and this one is next on my list, possibly a Christmas gift. This system is a wonderful aid in losing or maintaining weight and I would recommend it to anyone, in fact I have.
October 28th, 2009 at 7:29 am
i would adore the Wii fit. I am overweight and need motivation and it would be ideal!
October 28th, 2009 at 9:09 am
i saw the WII Fit Plus at the Womens Show in Abbotsford this weekend and i tried it. i think it is great; something to keep you active and give you some exercise. I would love to win one of these; i need all help i can get in the fitness department
October 28th, 2009 at 10:48 am
I think that it's a great thing that so many people want to get more fit with a Wii Fit! Like everyone else in this world I am busy. A busy mom of 3 who finds it hard to fit fitness into my daily life! I would love to win the Wii Fit so we could become more fit together as a family. Wii Fit makes fitness fun...and I think we could definitely benefit from that! Thanks... good luck to everyone!
October 28th, 2009 at 10:49 am
Congratulations on your hard work! I'd like to have the Wii Fit Plus, because I've heard it is better than the first game. I've been using the Wii Fitness Coach, and I love it, but I could use some variety.

I find it so hard to get the proper exercise in the cold winter months and this would help me to keep properly fit. Also I bought one for a gift for my grown daughter and now that I see how great it has been for her I really wish I had one for myself. Being a martyr Mom of course I can't afford it for myself. Sure hope I win it.

Everyone deserves a WII Fit Plus. I live very far from a gym. Too far, too expensive to drive. WII fit plus sounds like fun. Maybe I would even begin to exercise. Kathryn, congratulations on your loss of inches. I need to lose inches too!

This may motivate me to workout
October 28th, 2009 at 12:04 pm
I really deserve a Wii Fit because I'm a stay at home mom who has always walked a lot and tried to take care of myself, but I could really benefit from the workout a Wii Fit would provide.

I want to win the WII Fit Plus, because I like to play video games but do not like to exercise. With the Wii system, I'm hoping I could lose the fat around my waist if I can play games and lose weight at the same time.

I really want a Wii Fit Plus because my kids have been begging for it and also I would love the chance to work out on it too!!! I don't have money for a gym membership so I go walking and it is getting cold!!!! This would be a perfect solution for all my woes --- thanks for the great giveaway:)

We all deserve one of these!
October 28th, 2009 at 4:03 pm
I think I deserve to win because being physically fit is tough in retirement. If I won this I would get lots of different kinds of exercise and could also help my wife get exercise with it too.
October 28th, 2009 at 4:31 pm
I deserve the fit because i need to loose some weight
October 28th, 2009 at 4:37 pm
I'm sure a lot of us deserve it. I would love to win it so I could exercise indoors. I'm walking but the cold temperatures are coming and this would be great.
I'm a new subscriber by email and google reader as Feedburner sometimes doesn't send me any emails.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:18 pm
I deserve this because I have become a big fat pig and need to get my life back!
October 28th, 2009 at 6:17 pm
I have a Wii and the Wii Fit and it's getting kind of boring now so the Fit Plus would be awesome. I'm sure there are hundreds (thousands probably) who deserve to win this way more than me but I thought I'd give it a try. Good Luck to everyone out there fighting the battle of the bulge.
October 28th, 2009 at 7:30 pm
I want to lose at least 15 pounds before I retire. I am tired of feeling fat.
October 28th, 2009 at 7:43 pm
In the past 3 years I have lost 65 lbs, and am currently trying to lose my last 15 lbs. I've been very active - walking/jogging outdoors as well as using the treadmill, but I think it's time to 'bump it up' a bit. I think a Wii Fit Plus would work wonders...a change in workout routines.
October 28th, 2009 at 8:03 pm
I would love to win the WI Fit Plus. I am a full figured gal and I don't have to chance to workout outside to much in the winter. I think this would be a great thing to have to do during the winter months.
P.S. Two inches lost. You go girl. Keep up the good work.
October 28th, 2009 at 8:36 pm
I would love this prize!! i do get to the gym but love doing exercise at home, this would inspire my son and i to work out together and get wii fit!!
October 28th, 2009 at 8:50 pm
I've been doing a Walk at Home program 5 to 6 times a week since March and would like to take my workouts to the next level so I deserve to win this.
October 28th, 2009 at 9:49 pm
I am on a weight loss plan and am bored with my exercise dvd-the weather is getting to cold for outside walkings. I deserve a Wii fit to help me reach the next goal i have set for myself- please pick me
October 29th, 2009 at 1:08 am
I deserve to win because I am a working mom of 3 and can't ever find time to go to the gym.
October 29th, 2009 at 3:53 am
Congratulations on losing 2 inches off your waistline Kathryn. Over the past year, I have reduced my body size from large to medium through healthy eating and regular exercise so understand very well the joy of losing inches and building a strong body. I could really use the Wii Fit Plus new work-out routine to help keep exercise interesting. Keep up the good work!
October 30th, 2009 at 1:50 pm
Congrats on the 2"!
I could really use the Wii Fit Plus, because next week I turn 50. A new chapter of my life, and I'm determined to make the most of it. Being healthy is a big part. My mom died of cancer at 48, so to me 50 is a celebration of life.
:o)

I deserve to win a wii fit because i feel i deserve it, why, you ask, well i walk everywhere as it is as i believe it is better for the environment, but sometimes, when i feel like i should be out walking, i would rather just be in excersizing and having fun, but due to an accident, it is hard sometimes for me to get motivated,, so yea, i would like one, it would make everything funner

Hello,
This may be a new twist, but I’d like the Wii-Fit for my wife, and I’d like to tell you why.
My wife is a beautiful, vibrant, 57 year old. She struggled with a weight problem for many years. She was always attractive to me, but I didn’t realize the emotional distress that her weight was causing her.
One day she decided to do something about it. She completely changed her diet, and began to exercise. It has been a couple of years now since she lost between 45 and 50 pounds. She is a changed person.
Her self-esteem sky-rocketed, she changed the way she dressed, and she isn’t embarrassed to go out without the loose clothing look. She wears a bathing suit in public, and enjoys swimming.
Although she has lost the weight, is happier for it, and wants to keep it off, I know it’s still an ongoing mental battle for her. She still battles the old favourite food urges, but does quite well. I’m certainly impressed with her stamina. She is maintaining a healthy diet.
We walk frequently, and she does exercise in the privacy of our own home. The problem is, she exercises to a couple of old VHS tapes that, although good, may not be viable much longer. That old machine is on its last legs.
The outdoor exercise option is rapidly fading, as another cold winter is looming nearer as the days pass. I just think it would be great if she had an updated workout system. I know she would be thrilled, and if it keeps her happy with herself, that would make two people happy.
Thank you for your consideration.

Having fought to lose 150lbs 3 years ago then this Aug racing flipping & crashing bicycle was found to have a lrg brain aneurysm from birth. I have gained back 20 lbs simply being limited to walking only. Having a Wii for prior to my major surgery which is early Dec. and rehab which will be 6-8 months would be fantastic. Winning one would make it more special, struggling my whole life with weight knowing this is just a minor setback I have to find a way to fix however the inner me hurts thinking I cannot return to the bigger me for health and esteem reasons alone.

Why to win? Is this a psychology course. Because the answer would be why not? But you'd make it seem like I started my sentence with because and send me back to preschool with my pacifier in between my bosoms drawing an arch from my navel just to have a joe boxer smiley over my skin.
Wait, I know why, I'm depressed. Or not. But I do deserve to win, simply because everyone here is too happy. They can do jumping jacks. I need to fly through a galaxy like pumping your eyes before you sleep and opening them just to see where the pixels fall on life's dreary 2-d image with cat eyes that can't perceive with the absence of light...and now I'm not even making sense. Wii fit would be my coffee. Are you going to deny me coffee? I sure hope not. Not to mention the number 99 is pretty cool and I can't paraphrase nor paragraph...
November 7th, 2009 at 3:23 pm
well I really nee some motivation as the treadmill is not really helping me lose inches from my waist, my problem area. The Wii sounds like it puts the fun back in exercise.
November 8th, 2009 at 12:24 am
I need the fit to lose weight and have fun doing it.
November 10th, 2009 at 11:24 pm
I am trying to pregnant and am unable to right now because I am so overweight/obese. I need help and do not know where or how to get started. Maybe this is the push that will help me to get started. I hope I can get this prize as my husband has a permanent disability so we are on disability benefit and can't afford to buy one on our own. Thanks.
November 10th, 2009 at 11:26 pm
I deserve a Wii fit because I am an incomplete parapalegic and am very limited as to what I can do physically. I once tried the Wii fit at a friends home and amazingly was able to do it. I am unable to work so can not afford one on my own. This would be great.
November 10th, 2009 at 11:28 pm
I am trying to get pregnant right now and am not able to because I am very overweight. I am not sure where or how to start. This would be a great motivator to get me started. I have over 100 pounds to lose so this would be a great start. Thanks.
November 14th, 2009 at 11:10 pm
I deserve a WII fit Plus because I would give it to my friend, who will in turn give it to her twins, who would probably use it to burn off a few pounds over the long Prince George winter.
THank you!

Like many others, I don't feel I deserve it more than anyone else. I just know I would LOVE to have one. I work from home sitting at a desk all day (and often a good part of the evening). I can't even make the excuse that I have to go visit a co-worker to get away from my desk. LOL With lots of snow, cold and the very long winter to look forward to, I know I would make good use of something fun to motivate me to exercise indoors. Congrats and and keep letting us know about your progress (I subscribed to your blog).
