"Excuse me miss, I think your pockets are showing." This is what I desperately want to say every time I see someone walk down the street with their pockets peeking out.

I'm all for denim shorts, in fact they're one of my summer wardrobe staples. But this "trend," I do not get. If your pockets are showing it generally means one of two things; your shorts are WAY too miniature. Or, the clothing company decided to add it as a design (and I use the term loosely) detail. Why? They serve no functional purpose or add no real design aesthetic—it just looks trashy.
The denim shorts on the left with the cuffed hem and cute bow tie belt are a far superior option compared to the ones on the right with the saggy pockets. Don't you think?
