Although I have a mad love for a good horizontal stripe, polka dots are quickly stealing the spotlight. The retro pattern feels less wholesome (think Mini Mouse) and more fresh—especially when done in a monochromatic graphic spot.
My favourite way to wear dots is on a really basic piece, like a tee or simple blouse. It helps tone down the cutesy factor. However if you are into the girly girly aesthetic of polka dots you can find some pretty precious button down tea length dresses or a pleated skirt to get the spot-on style with a pinch of whimsy.
