Staff tested: Revlon Crazy Shine

Before I discovered UV cured gel nail polish I was the girl with the permanently chipped manicure. Despite my best efforts of regular salon visits and obsessively chaining my polish at-home it usually took me less than 24 hours to incur a few fatal chips.

So yes, soak-off gel nails are a life changing beauty product for me — but when I went a few days or even a few weeks with naked nails there was a down side. My nails looked matte, a wee bit damaged and the ridges were a little more evident. But I discovered a  quick fix, let's just call it another life changing beauty product : Revlon's Crazy Shine nail buffer.

My thoughts:

Revlon claims that this tear drop buffer will create 400 per cent more shine than bare nails. Like any beauty critic I scoffed at this claim. Until I finally picked one up and scuffed my nails with it. It took seconds for my view to change,  this product is legit. It almost makes nails look too shiny, if that's possible? After a good buffing my nails looked like I applied a topcoat of clear nail polish, but it's better than polish because it doesn't ware off and you don't have to factor in drying time. Revlon says it last for three days, but I found the Crazy Shine pay off  was even better — lasting five or six days for me. I highly recommend it, 5 out of 5 perfectly shiny and healthy looking nails.

GIVEWAWAY: Comment on this post to win! The question is: What beauty product can you not live without? We'll pick five winning comments so you can try your very own crazy shine — trust me you'll love it.
