Ingredients
- 2 cups water 2 2cups cupswater
- 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 1/4teaspoon teaspoonsalt
- 1 cup long grain rice 1 1cup cuplong grain rice
- 3 cups 2% reduced fat milk 3 3cups cups2% reduced fat milk
- 1/2 cup Splenda® No Calorie Sweetener, Granular 1/2 1/2cup cupSplenda® No calorie Sweetener, Granular
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/8 1/8teaspoon teaspoonground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup raisins 1/4 1/4cup cupraisinraisins
- 1-1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1-1/2 1-1/2tsp tspvanilla extract
Preparation
Bring water to a boil in a heavy medium-sized saucepan. Stir in salt and rice. Cover, reduce heat and simmer until water is absorbed (about 12 minutes).
Add milk, SPLENDA® Granulated Sweetener, cinnamon, and raisins. Cook, uncovered, over low heat, stirring occasionally, until most of the milk is absorbed (about 15 minutes). Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Serve warm.
