The Judging
Sixteen semi-finalist recipes will be selected from all eligible entries by the Canadian Living Test Kitchen staff on Monday, April 14, 2008, in Toronto, Ontario based on the quality of the recipes as judged by The Canadian Living Test Kitchen staff. The sixteen semi-finalist recipes will be prepared and tested by The Canadian Living Test Kitchen staff.

Four finalists will be selected from the sixteen semi-finalists by the Canadian Living Test Kitchen staff on Friday, May 9,     2008, in Toronto, Ontario, based on the quality of the tested     recipes. One Cook of the Year winner will be selected by a     judging panel on Friday, June 13, 2008, at the cook-off in     Toronto, Ontario, based on the quality of the recipe prepared by the finalist.

The decisions of the judging organization are final with respect to all aspects of the contest. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants and individuals requesting a copy of contest rules. The odds of an entry being selected depend on the number and quality of eligible entries received by the contest closing date. All entries, including photographs, become the property of Transcontinental Media G.P. and none will be returned. Canadian Living, Transcontinental Media G.P., and KitchenAid and third parties may make the information on these entry forms available for promotional purposes unless entrants request otherwise.
