Foot (make 2)
Using colour F, ch 9.
1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across (8 sc). Ch 1, turn.
2-4: Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn.
5: Dec sc over first 2 sts, sc in each st across, dec sc over last 2 sts. Ch 1, turn.
6-9: Repeat row 2.
10: Working around entire edge of piece just worked, sc in each st and row-end. Join with a sl st to first sc. Ch 1. Do not turn.
11-12: Sc in each of first 6 sts, along back edge of piece. Ch 1, turn.
13: Working around entire edge of piece just worked, sc in each st and row-end. Join with a sl st to first sc. Ch 1, turn.
14: Sc in each of first 10 sts. Ch 1, turn.
15-19: Repeat row 14. Fasten off.
Lightly stuff before sewing toe (rnd 1) and edge of flap just created, leaving ankle side open. Sew ankle opening to underside of duck.
Wing (make 2)
Using colour F, ch 21.
1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across (20 sc). Ch 1, turn.
2-9: Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn. Fasten off.
Fold in half and sew edges together. Sew one of the longer ends to the body of the duck.
Beak
Using colour F, ch 17.
1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across (16 sc). Ch 1, turn.
2-6: Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn. Fasten off.
Fold in half and sew edges together. Stuff firmly. Sew one of the shorter ends to the face of the duck.
Using black or brown thread, embroider eyes onto face by working several sts in the same place. Fasten off.
Finished dimensions
7 inches tall.
