Originally the work of landscape architect Ron Holbrook, who ran with the homeowners' vision of a "sunny Italian garden with Old World charm," the traditional elements softened after a later redesign courtesy of landscape architect, Sheila Murray. Warm Welcome The home's stately entryway is framed by the brilliant foliage of a Japanese maple. Punchy pots Check out the contrast on that coleus! The showstopping containers flanking the home's entryway are the work of Rory Petrozzelli. Hardy hedges Toronto's harsh winter proved particularly disastrous for boxwood, but these specimens came out of the cold unscathed. Handsome hardscaping The retaining wall lining the raised beds takes a colour cue from the stone facade of the house. Join this year's tour!
