2 ways to restyle a T-shirt

Plain T-shirts begone! For a look that's all your own, follow the simple directions outlined below for a customized top. For a look of the moment, try experimenting with patterns -- Organic prints in muted tones or bold florals in vibrant shades will give your look more visual impact.


Gaia: For an innocent-maiden look

1. Cut boat neck.
2. Cut cap sleeves.
3. Cut strip off bottom of T.
4. Cut strip in half.
5. Sew each strip onto sides of T.
6. Tie in front or back.

Anka: For a hip-hugger look
Open visual instructions here

1. Cut T across front as indicated.
2. Cut straight across in back.
3. Cut strip off bottom.
4. Cut triangle down centre.
5. Place strip between two sides of triangle; knot triangle around strip.
6. Tie strip in bow for halter.
