Knit a long rainbow scarf

Brighten even the dreariest winter day with this colourful scarf.

Extra-long mufflers are all the rage and easy to do – just keep knitting! Try this exuberantly coloured, textured version from Nova Scotia's Fleece Artist, Kathryn Thomas.

Finished scarf is approx 254 x 15 cm (100 x 6 in). Standard abbreviations are used.

Recommended for beginners.

You need:

• 1 hank of pure wool Fleece Artist Wool Slub
• 1 pair of 15 mm needles

TENSION
7 sts and 8 rows = 10 cm/4 ins in [k1,p1] rib using 15 mm needles.


To make:

Cast on 14 sts.

All rows: [K1,p1] to end of row.

Work even until almost all of the yarn is used; cast off very loosely.
