10-minute beaded wire napkin rings

Add a little sparkle to your dinner table with these easy-to-make beaded napkin rings.

You need:

• 16-gauge wire
•Assorted beads
•Wooden dowel or rolling pin, 4 to 5 cm (1-5/8 to 2 in) in diameter
•Needle-nose pliers

Instructions (for each):

1. Cut 50 cm (20-in) length of wire, then twist approx 4 cm (1-5/8 in) at 1 end into tight, flat spiral approx 5 mm (1/4 in) in diameter.

2. Wind remaining wire around dowel to form loose spiral.

3. Thread remaining end through approx 1 dozen beads, then twist end into second tight, flat spiral.
