Design your own postcards

By Marg Meikle

Use our template to turn your prints into professional-looking postcards.

Sending photographs to friends is lots of fun and much appreciated. Turning your prints into postcards couldn't be simpler. Here's how:

Materials
Four 4" X 6" photographs
1 sheet of 8-1/2" x 11" sticker paper
(Or 70 lb. cardstock plus a glue stick)
X-ACTO knife
Cutting mat
Metal-edged ruler or paper cutter

Instructions:
1. Download POSTCARDTEMPLATE.pdf (NOTE: PDF format requires free Adobe Acrobat Reader plugin.)

2. Print the postcard template on a full page of sticky paper or cardstock.

3. Cut sheet into four rectangles. They will each be 4-1/4" X 5-1/2". You will need to trim your photograph 1/2" in length and each postcard sticky sheet 1/4" in width so they match.

4. Peel off the backing paper and stick a rectangle onto the backs of each of the photographs. Or if using card stock, attach to the photos with the glue stick.
