Festive votive candle holders

As leaves change from green to red, our thoughts turn to home and hearth. Ignite the season with some easy and inspired decorations, the perfect touch for your home or special event.

Grab a blanket, find your favourite chair, and enjoy the flicker of candles.

Materials:
• Vellum, 8-1/2" x 11", 29lb clear
• Ribbon or string
• Hole punch reinforcements
• X-ACTO knife
• Metal-edged ruler
• Cutting mat
• Votive candles
• Votive candle holders
• Hole punch

Instructions:
1. Print your design of choice onto a piece of vellum. Set aside to dry completely.

2. Place the cutting mat underneath the vellum. Using the X-ACTO knife and ruler as your guide, trim away white areas.

3. Punch holes on either side of the design.

4. Place a reinforcement around each hole.

5. Thread the ribbon through the holes.

6. Wrap the vellum around a votive candleholder and tie with a bow.

7. Add a lit candle to the holder and enjoy the festivities.
