Staff at your local scrapbooking store
(or LSS as they're called on the online forums) can really help. Many, like my local store in Vancouver, Scrapbook Warehouse offer courses as well as encouragement, advice and information on local Crops (get-togethers for scrapping). Look up scrapbooking stores and suppliers in the yellow pages or at We Love Scrapbooking

And check out craft supply stores, such as Lewiscraft and
Michaels Arts and Crafts Store,
London Drug and other photo finishing stores, such as
Cars and Mosher in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, and Japan Camera.

Fabric shops and dollar stores are terrific sources for embellishments.
Keeping Memories Alive is the Christensens' store.
