Baby jester costume

This cute costume is guaranteed to make you smile.

What you need:

• purple fleece, 7/8 yd. of 60" wide (0.80m of 150cm wide)
• yellow fleece, 3/8 yd. of 60" wide (0.40m of 150cm wide)
• hot glue gun and glue sticks
• needle and thread
• small amount of fiberfill

CAPE
Cut a large circle from purple fleece. Cut out a neck opening. Cut lower edge as shown. Cut diamond shapes from fabric scraps and hotglue to
the cape as shown.

HAT
With right sides in, handsew the two layers together around face opening. Clip seam allowance. Turn right side out. Handsew back seam of each of the two layers separately. Sew the top piece to the hat. Baste or hotglue the lower edges together. Cut diamond shapes from fleece scraps and hotglue them around the hat. Make three pompoms (see baby ladybug) and sew or hotglue them to hat tips. (Note: Or, instead of sewing, hotglue the seams with wrong sides together and without turning the fabric over afterwards.)
