> FOOD TIP: February 23 - 27, 2009:

Store perishable foods inside cereal box liners instead of plastic baggies:

Save money, recycle, spend less on groceries!  How?  Re-use your cereal box liners! They kept your cereal dry, right? Sprinkle out the crumbs and use them instead of buying pricey plastic bags!  Keep bacon, deli meats, fruits and veggies fresher MUCH longer! Just give your bacon and meats a pat dry and place in the bags. Rinse your fruits and veggies and do the same! You're going to LOVE ME for this one! ;-D
