    2-1/2 cups (625 mL) water
    1 cup (250 mL) unsweetened apple juice
    1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and diced
    1/2 cup (125 mL) raisins or pitted chopped dates
    4 tsp (20 mL) packed SPLENDA® Brand Brown Sugar Blend
    1/2 tsp (2 mL) cinnamon
    2 cups (500 mL) quick-cooking rolled oats (not instant)
    3/4 cup (175 mL) chopped walnuts or pecans

Preparation:

In saucepan, bring water, apple juice, apple, raisins, SPLENDA® Brown Sugar Blend and cinnamon to boil; stir in rolled oats. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes or until thickened. Stir in walnuts.
