Praline Bacon-Wrapped Water Chestnuts

2 tbsp (30 mL) soy sauce
2 tsp (10 mL) balsamic vinegar
24 drained canned water chestnuts (two 8 oz/ 225 mL cans)
1/4 cup (60 mL) finely chopped pecans
2 tsp (10 mL) packed SPLENDA® Brand Brown Sugar Blend
2 tsp (10 mL) chili powder
8 slices bacon, cut crosswise into thirds
24 wooden cocktail toothpicks, soaked in water for 1 hour
Preparation:
In small bowl, stir soy sauce with vinegar; add chestnuts and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Stir together pecans, SPLENDA® Brown Sugar Blend and chili powder; sprinkle over one side of bacon slices.
Place 1 chestnut in centre of each slice; wrap bacon around and secure with toothpick.
Bake on foil-lined baking sheet in 425 °F (220 °C) oven for about 15 minutes or until bacon is cooked and crisp at edges. Briefly transfer to paper towel-lined plate. Serve warm.
