Ingredients

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Grease round 10" (25 cm) pan with first 2 tbsp (30 mL) butter. If possible, use either a custard pan or a spring pan. Sprinkle first 2 tbsp (30 mL) SPLENDA® Granulated on butter, then arrange berries on bottom of pan.

To make clafoutis batter, melt the 1/4 cup (60 mL) butter in a small saucepan. Allow butter to cool slightly before moving on to next step.

In a large bowl, combine cooled melted butter, eggs and milk. Mix well. In a separate bowl, mix the 1 cup (250 mL) of SPLENDA® Granulated, flour and ground almonds. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture and mix well. Add vanilla then pour mixture over berries. Cook in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, until firm. Remove from oven and allow to cool before serving.
