This favourite Mexican salsa is a topping for tacos, salads and nachos. Add this to our Chicken & Cilantro Rice Burritos for extra flavour.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped vine-ripened tomatoes (about 4)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped white onion (about quarter onion)
  • 1/3 cup chopped cilantro (with stems)
  • 1 clove garlic , minced
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method

In bowl, stir together tomatoes, onion, cilantro, garlic, lime juice and salt until combined. 

Makes 2 2/3 cups.
