Ingredients
- 3 cups unsweetened apple juice 3 3cups cupsunsweetened apple juice or water
- 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 1/2tsp tspsalt
- 1-1/3 cups quick-cooking rolled oats 1-1/3 1-1/3cups cupsquick-cooking rolled oats
- 1/2 apple , peeled and diced1/2 1/2apple, peeled and diced
- 1/3 cup raisins , (optional)1/3 1/3cup cupraisinraisins, (optional)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 1/2tsp tspcinnamon
Preparation
In saucepan, bring apple juice and salt to boil; whisk in rolled oats, apple, raisins (if using) and cinnamon. Reduce heat and simmer, whisking constantly, until desired thickness, 4 to 5 minutes.
