No fish-and-chips platter is complete without a tasty bowl of slaw. Use red-skinned apples for the best appearance.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup plain Balkan-style yogurt or vanilla flavoured balkan style yogurt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp poppy seeds, optional
  • 2 apples, cored and julienned
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint

Preparation

In bowl, whisk together yogurt, lemon juice, and poppy seeds (if using); stir in apples and mint.
