Reese's peanut butter cups are now spreadable (!)

Move over cookie butter, peanut butter cups are now spreadable. We already know that peanut butter and chocolate are a match made in heaven. So it is really no surprise that Hershey’s has made Reese’s peanut butter cups into a spread. Similar to cookie butter and hazelnut spread, the sweet treat is meant to be put on toast, crackers, waffles - really whatever you want. But we know some people will be eating it straight from the jar. reeses peanut butter cup

The spread is meant as a snack, though don’t assume it is healthier than grabbing an afternoon chocolate bar. I think it would be great made into cookies or as a peanut butter chocolate mousse. The orange jars are for sale across the U.S. going for $3.89 for a 13oz. jar. While there’s no word on when it will make its way into Canadian stores, Facebook user Norah Gibbons pointed out that Kraft makes a similar product. Also new to store shelves is Kraft's  chocolate peanut butter spread. They offer some other unique flavours such as banana granola and peanut butter, and cinnamon granola raisin.
