Suggested Recipes
-
1/4 cup (50 mL) hoisin sauce
2 tbsp (25 mL) soy sauce
2 tbsp (25 mL) lime juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp (5 mL) minced gingerroot
1/4 tsp (1 mL) pepper
4 pork loin centre chops boneless or bone-in, trimmed
2 green onions, thinly sliced
Preparation:
In shallow dish, combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, garlic, ginger and pepper.
Slash edges of pork chops to prevent curling. Add to marinade, turning to coat; let stand for 30 minutes. (Make-ahead: Cover and refrigerate, turning occasionally, for up to 24 hours.)
Reserving marinade, place chops on foil-lined broiler pan or greased grill; spoon marinade over top. Broil, turning once, until juices run clear when pork is pierced and just a hint of pink remains inside, about 8 minutes. Sprinkle with green onions.
