Method

In heatproof bowl over saucepan of hot (not boiling) water, melt chocolate; set aside.

In large bowl, beat butter until smooth. In separate bowl, whisk icing sugar with cocoa; beat into butter alternately with milk, making 3 additions of sugar mixture and 2 of milk. Beat in chocolate and vanilla.
