This candy-loaded bark, reminiscent of Turkish delight, is sure to become a favourite with the kids. Keep it refrigerated so it doesn't soften.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb bittersweet chocolate chopped
  • 12 oz assorted red gummy candies

Method

In heatproof bowl over saucepan of hot (not boiling) water, melt chocolate; let cool for 5 minutes. Fold in half of the candy.

Scrape into parchment paper–lined 13- x 9-inch (3.5 L) cake pan, smoothing top. Sprinkle evenly with remaining candy. Refrigerate until firm, about 45 minutes. Cut into pieces. (Make-ahead: Refrigerate in airtight container for up to 2 days.)
