Chocolate Cookie Dough

This recipe makes 70 servings
Divide this brownielike dough to make hats and Broomstick Cookies.
Ingredients
- 4 oz unsweetened chocolate , chopped4 oz unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- 3/4 cup butter , softened3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp salt
Preparation
Meanwhile, in bowl, beat together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla. Beat in chocolate.
In separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt ; stir into butter mixture in 2 additions to make smooth dough. Divide in half.
Makes enough dough for about 70 cookies.
