Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup 3/4cupunsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup 3/4cuppacked brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup 1/4cupgranulated sugar
  • 1 1eggeggs
  • 1 tsp 1tspvanilla
  • 1 cup 1cupall-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp 1/2tspbaking soda
  • 1/2 tsp 1/2tspsalt
  • 1-1/2 cups 1-1/2cupsquick cooking rolled oats, (not instant)
  • 1-1/2 cups 1-1/2cupscornflakes
  • 3/4 cup 3/4cupraisinraisins
  • 1/2 cup 1/2cupsemisweet chocolate chips

Preparation

In large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy, 1 minute. Beat in egg and vanilla. In separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda and salt; stir into butter mixture. Stir in oats, cornflakes, raisins and chocolate chips.

Drop by generous 1 tbsp (15 mL), about 2 inches (5 cm) apart, onto parchment paper–lined baking sheets. Bake in 350°F (180°C) oven until edges and tops begin to brown, 12 to 14 minutes. Let cool on pans on racks.
