No-Bake Reindeer Haystacks

It's easy to get the children into the kitchen when you have this kid-friendly recipe.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup 3/4cuppeanut butter chips
  • 3/4 cup 3/4cupsemisweet chocolate chips
  • 1-1/2 cups 1-1/2cupscorn flakes
  • 1 cup 1cupchow mein noodles
  • 1 cup 1cupmini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup 1/2cupunsalted peanutunsalted peanuts

Preparation

In large heatproof bowl over saucepan of simmering water, melt peanut butter chips with chocolate chips. Remove from heat. Fold in cornflakes, chow mein noodles, marshmallows and peanuts.

Drop by heaping 1 tbsp (15 mL) onto lined baking sheet. Chill until hard, 1 hour. (Make ahead: Refrigerate in airtight container for up 3 days.)

Nut-Free No-Bake Reindeer Haystacks
Omit peanut butter chips and peanuts. Increase chocolate chips to 1-1/2 cups (375 mL).
