Pasteurized Egg White Royal Icing
This recipe makes 2 cups servings
Pasteurized egg whites are found in the egg section of the grocery store.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup pasteurized egg whites 1/3 cup pasteurized egg whites
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 4 cups sifted icing sugar 4 cups sifted icing sugar
Preparation
In bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until foamy. Gradually beat in icing sugar until stiff, about 4 minutes. Cover with damp cloth to prevent drying out.
