Royal Icing (for Haunted Gingerbread Shack)
This recipe makes 3 1/2 cup (125 mL) servings
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup water 1/3 cup water
- 3 tbsp meringue powder 3 tbsp meringue powder
- 3-1/2 cups icing sugar 3-1/2 cups icing sugar
- 1 black paste food colouring 1 black paste food colouring
Preparation
Beat in icing sugar until stiff, about 4 minutes. Tint black with food colouring. Cover icing with damp cloth to prevent drying out.
