Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup water 1/3 cup water
  • 3 tbsp meringue powder 3 tbsp meringue powder
  • 3-1/2 cups icing sugar 3-1/2 cups icing sugar
  • 1 black paste food colouring 1 black paste food colouring

Preparation

In bowl, beat water with meringue powder until foamy, about 2 minutes.

Beat in icing sugar until stiff, about 4 minutes. Tint black with food colouring. Cover icing with damp cloth to prevent drying out.
