Suggested Recipes
-
1 lb (500 g) uncooked green beans, trimmed
8 small new_potatoes (about 12 oz/375 g)
2 tbsp (25 mL) chopped fresh chives or green onions
1/4 tsp (1 mL) each salt and pepper
1 tbsp (15 mL) butter or extra-virgin olive oil
Preparation:
Arrange beans in centre of large piece of heavy-duty foil or double-thickness foil. Scrub and quarter potatoes; add to beans. Sprinkle with chives, 1 tbsp (15 mL) water, salt and pepper; dot with butter. Fold foil up over vegetables and fold over edges to seal and form packet.
Place on grill over medium heat; close lid and cook, turning once, until beans are tender-crisp and potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
