  • 4 cups pasteurized apple cider
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 2-inch piece lemon rind
  • 1 oz whisky


In saucepan, heat pasteurized apple cider and lemon juice over medium heat until steaming. Add cinnamon sticks and lemon rind; remove from heat and let steep, covered, for 5 minutes. Pour whisky into each of 6 heatproof glasses or mugs; top with hot cider mixture. Garnish each glass with cinnamon stick and lemon twist.
