Rose water is distilled from the flower's petals. Though it has been used for centuries in Middle Eastern, Indian and Chinese cuisines, rose water is relatively new to the average Canadian bartender.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin
  • 2 teaspoons pomegranate liqueur
  • 1/2 teaspoon rose water
  • 1 cup tonic water
  • ice cubes
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary (optional)

Method

Divide gin, pomegranate liqueur, rose water and tonic water evenly among rocks glasses. Top with ice cubes; garnish with rosemary sprigs (if using).
