Ingredients

  • 2 2(4 oz/125 g) smoked sausagesmoked sausages, diced
  • 1 1oniononions, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp 2tspground cumin
  • 2 tbsp 2tbsptomato paste
  • 1 can (19 oz/540 mL) 1can (19 oz/540 mL)black beanblack beans, drained and rinsed

Preparation

In large saucepan, brown sausages over medium heat, about 5 minutes. Add onion and cumin; cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, 2 minutes.

Add tomato paste; cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Add beans and 4 cups (1 L) water; bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
