This rich chocolate sauce is the perfect topping for ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp corn syrup
  • 6 oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tbsp coffee liqueur
  • 1 tbsp amber rum

Preparation

In saucepan, bring cream and corn syrup to boil; remove from heat. Whisk in chocolate until smooth. Stir in liqueur and rum. Let stand until thickened, 15 minutes. (Make-ahead: Refrigerate in airtight container for up to 1 week; rewarm to liquefy.)
