My two teens and I love the flavour of garlic and onion but neither agree with my husband's digestive system. Is there any room for compromise or do we have to suffer with bland food?

To satisfy the whole family, my suggestion would be to leave them out of the dish but sauté some onions and garlic separately. After you have dished out your husband's serving, stir the cooked onions and garlic into the rest of the dish for you and your children to enjoy. -- Heather Howe
